<p align="justify">Selection of research topic is the basic and important part of research report, thesis or dissertation. It requires a lot of energy, resources and time to choose an appropriate topic for the research. There are numerous factors which need to be taken into consideration before final selection of the research topic. For example a research topic should neither be too broad nor should be too narrow. @Hardeek it depends on the area of your interest. if you are comfortable with arithmetic, calculation etc then finance is best. On the other hand if you are more comfortable with theoretical subjects (which does not include complex calculations) then management, marketing and supply chain are the good options. plz do read some articles related to these subjects, it will give you better understanding about the field of your interest.

Thanks for your comments. We have seen that many students are having problems with their research topics. Therefore it is our humble request to all the students of management to participate in the discussion so that we could solve those issues.
@tasneemparker410, you can narrow down your topic by selecting one city or specific area from your country. In this way you will only focus on the doctors of that area. Similarly you can narrow down the list of pharmaceutical companies by selecting only listed companies or by selecting the companies having annual profit of more than say $5 million or companies of specific city etc.
